Buenos Aires, Feb. 3 (NA) -- The national government launched a direct communication campaign aimed at raising public awareness about the importance of vaccination and strengthening coverage under the National Vaccination Calendar nationwide. The vaccines included in the National Calendar are tested, safe, and available in public hospitals and health centers across the country without the need for a medical order. According to a report from the Ministry of Health, accessed by the Argentine News Agency, the National Calendar provides official information on the vaccines corresponding to each stage of life, special situations, and specific groups. Vaccination is one of the main preventive measures to avoid diseases that can be serious to health, so increasing coverage not only protects the population against all kinds of diseases but also reduces severe cases, allowing the health system to maintain its usual services without overload.
